【摘要】:1.1ThispartofISO179specifiesamethodfordeterminingtheCharpyimpactstrengthofplasticsunderdefinedconditions.Anumberofdifferenttypesofspecimenandtestconfigurationsaredefined.Differenttestparametersarespecifiedaccordingtothetypeofmaterial,thetypeoftestspecimenandthetypeofnotch.1.2Themethodcanbeusedtoinvestigatethebehaviourofspecifiedtypesofspecimenundertheimpactconditionsdefinedandforestimatingthebrittlenessortoughnessofspecimenswithinthelimitationsinherentinthetestconditions.Itcanalsobeusedforthedeterminationofcomparativedatafromsimilartypesofmaterial.1.3ThemethodhasagreaterrangeofapplicabilitythanthatgiveninISO180[1]andismoresuitableforthetestingofmaterialsshowinginterlaminarshearfractureorofmaterialsexhibitingsurfaceeffectsduetoenvironmentalfactors.
