【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversfree-machiningferriticstainlesssoftmagneticmaterialsproducedorsuppliedexpresslyforuseinmagneticcoresandotherpartsrequiringahighpermeabilitystainlesssteelhavinglow-coerciveforceandlow-residualmagnetism.ThespecificalloytypeshavecorrosionresistancesimilartoAISIType430FandType430FSpecificationA582.TwospecifictypealloysarecoveredinTable1.Thisspecificationcoversthesealloytypessuppliedinbilletorbarforminshapessuchasrounds,squares,hexagons,octagons,orspecialshapes.Certaincoldfinishroundbarproductsarecapableofbeingsuppliedtorequiredmagneticcharacteristicssuchaslow-residualmagnetism.Otherproductformsofthesealloytypescannotbeproducedhavingequivalentlow-residualmagnetism;hence,finalmachinedpartsshallbeheattreatedasrecommendedbytheproducer.ThefollowingsafetyhazardcaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportionsinAnnexA1ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Magneticpropertiesareexpressedincgs-emuunitsfollowedbytheSIunitequivalentenclosedinparentheses.
