【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthemagnitudeofone-dimensionalcollapsethatoccurswhenunsaturatedsoilsareinundatedwithfluid.1.2Thistestmethodmaybeusedtodeterminethemagnitudeofpotentialcollapsethatmayoccurforagivenvertical(axial)stressandanindexforratingthepotentialforcollapse.1.3Thistestmethodspecifiesthetechniqueforspecimenpreparation,apparatus,andprocedureforquantifyingtheamountofheightchangeassociatedwithcollapseandproceduresforreportingtestresults.1.4Theproceduresgiveninthistestmethodareapplicabletobothundisturbedandremoldedspecimens.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6.11.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
