【摘要】:Thisstandardgivesdesignrequirementsforsteelpipeandfittingsusedinwatersupplyandsewersystemsunderstaticandoperatingconditions.Althoughthisstandardprimarilyappliestodrinkingwaterandsewersystems,italsoappliestopipesandfittingsusedinsystemsconveyingotheraqueousmedia(e.g.raw,process,andcoolingwaters)aswellasseawater,saltwaterandbrines.ltdoesnot,however,applytodomesticinstallations.Thedimensionsofpipesasinthisstandardaecalculatedforthesllowableoperatingpressuresspecifiedforagivenpipelinecomponentaswellastheexternalloads.Thewallthicknessofcomponentsmadenotexceedtheappropriatevaluesspecifiedinthesetables,orifthethicknessisnotlessthantheopecifiednominslthickness.lnallothercases,anappropriatestress-strainanalysisisrequired.
